A sovereign wealth fund used the Planetrics model to assess climate impacts on its listed equities portfolio.

The fund analyzed physical and transition risks on thousands of public equities across multiple geographies. In addition to the overall size of climate risks for each equity, the fund was able to quantify the contribution of different risk channels, including direct and indirect carbon costs, competition dynamics, and chronic and acute physical impacts.

Building on these insights, the fund was able to develop tools to help investment teams integrate climate-change considerations into their investment processes.
